Ludwigia Ovalis is an easy plant to keep and is a great option for anyone looking to cultivate colored plants without the associated hassle. It is characterized by oval leaves that grow in alternating pairs along a tilted stem. Coloration is dependent upon water properties and will require regular trimming. This plant is very attractive when planted in bunches of 10-12 stems.
High lighting, nutrients, and iron are essential to achieving the desired red tone. CO2 injection is not required but is favorable to help in its growth.
