Rotala 'Bonsai' is characterized by dense and compact growth pattern. Dependent upon lighting provided, its tips can achieve a reddish coloration. It is also often described as a moderately growing cousin of Bacopa Caroliniana. When frequent trimming is performed, Rotala Bonsai grows dense and bushy and provides a beautiful display in any planted aquarium tank. Rotala Bonsai can thrive in a wide range of tank conditions. However, to bring the best out of this plant, CO2, rich fertilizer and substrate is recommended.
