Hakkai Stone displays a mixture of blue, grey and green-ish hues in-tank and sports a smooth, rounded shape with natural grooves earning its alternative name, Bug Eaten Stone. This aquascaping stone is highly coveted and falls on the rare side as its characteristics are the result from years of natural erosion making availability limited when compared to other aquascaping stone choices. On the density scale, Hakkai is one of the heaviest stones available on the market, increasing its rarity further. How many pounds do I need?
We advise 2 x Tank volume in gallons = Total amount of pounds required

Please note that this is the normal rule of thumb. Hakkai Stone is very dense and will weigh more when compared to other stone choices. We recommend increasing the amount ordered, if possible, to receive a multiple stones and/or a larger variety of sizes.
