This 10-gallon layout features multiple pieces of nano-sized Spider Wood strategically placed atop Seiryu Stone. Its bold placement creates a dramatic appearance perfect for various species of aquatic ferns. The base Seiryu Stone has plenty of characteristic grooves that are perfect for anchoring aquatic mosses, Anubias and Bucephalandra. Aquatic ferns such as Microsorum Pteropus 'Narrow', would complement the wild twisted characteristic of the Spider Wood. Sand at the base would neutralize the look and keep the focus on the beautiful centerpiece. Alternatively, a simple carpet comprised of an aquatic foreground plant such as Lilaeopsis Novaezelandiae would add soften up the hardscape layout and add more dimension and character to the overall aquascape.
