This centerpiece layout is constructed of a popular aquarium driftwood, Spider Wood. Its wild appearance is complemented with Seiryu Stone at the base, perfect for using aquatic plant species such as Anubias, Bucephalandra and more. The Seiryu Stone chosen features plenty of natural crevices and cracks allowing for the use of aquatic moss species to accentuate the entire hardscape layout. Although a nano-sized aquarium tank, the use of space along with the angle of the hardscape helps to create a larger than life feel. Combined with the rich color of Spider Wood, colorful aquatic plants such as Rotala species, mixed with simple but classic aquatic plants like Hemianthus Micranthemoides would bring this scape to life. Aquatic moss can be also attached to Spider Wood for a much more natural look. In addition, foreground aquatic plants such as Dwarf Hair Grass or Micranthemum 'Monte Carlo’ can be planted in the foreground for additional character and color in this aquascape.
